Team Building |
|
A team is a group of people working towards a common goal. 'Team Building' is the process of enabling that group of people to reach their goal. Understanding the principles of a good team working and to get the most from your people is crucial to your companies on going success.
Our activities are specifically designed to develop team building and planning skills.
The benefits to building happy and productive teams in the workplace are limitless.
By providing individuals with an opportunity to show unseen sides to their character and personalities, by allowing them to open up and express themselves in an
unfamiliar environment can help team unity.
Examples of tasks include:-
|
Sheep Pen |
One member of the team in turn is the 'shepherd' and the remainder are'sheep' and are blindfolded and tied together in pairs. The shepherd has to control them through and into their pen by means of only whistle commands. |
The Moonwalk |
Your spacecraft has crash landed on the moon in a radio active zone and you have lost your air supply module. you have one air supply line, which attaches your team together. All team members must traverse a course to reach safety without touching the ground, making use of two lengths of your spacecraft and four
pieces of wire. |
Diversion |
The teams must break a code to find map references in order to obtain directions to find clues. The clues turn into an anagram which must be solved for you to receive your prize. |
Swamp |
A swamp can only be safely crossed by using a series of 'stepping stones'. The span between stones can only be bridged by using planks. The spans are greater than others making the exercise harder to traverse at first. All the teams moves from start to the finish point , collecting tokens along the way. |
